Get up to 275,000 bonus Delta SkyMiles with this limited-time cruise offer

Looking to rack up oodles of Delta SkyMiles in a flash? There’s a new offer from Delta Cruises that will let you do just that.

As of Monday, the cruising arm of the Delta SkyMiles program is giving customers who book a sailing with luxury line Regent Seven Seas Cruises up to a whopping 275,000 bonus Delta SkyMiles.

That’s on top of the 2 Delta SkyMiles for every dollar spent on cruises that Delta Cruises normally awards.

The offer brings a range of bonus mile amounts from 25,000 to 175,000 depending on the specific Regent cruise you book.

For example, if you book a sailing for 2025 that is 12 nights in length or shorter, you’ll get a solid 25,000 bonus miles as part of the promotion. But book a sailing for 2024 of the same length, and you’ll get 50,000 bonus miles — twice as many.

The bonus mile counts rise sharply from there as you book longer sailings, with sailings in 2024 always getting more bonus miles than sailings in 2025 and beyond.

To get the full 275,000 bonus miles, you’ll need to book a cruise of 21 nights or longer that takes place in 2024.

As anyone who is active in the Delta SkyMiles program knows, that’s a huge number of Delta SkyMiles. TPG currently values Delta SkyMiles at 1.2 cents each, meaning that 275,000 miles would be worth $3,300 at our valuation.

Note that you must act fast to get the bonus miles. The offer is only available through April 30. It applies to new bookings for cruises scheduled to take place over the coming years.

Details of the bonus mile offer

The bonus mile offer is good for any cabin you book on any Regent Seven Seas sailing, with the total bonus miles you will get dependent on the length of the cruise and the year it takes place.

Specifically, customers booking a cruise for 2025 and beyond will get:

  • 25,000 bonus miles for sailings of 12 nights or fewer
  • 50,000 bonus miles for sailings of 13 or 14 nights
  • 100,000 bonus miles for sailings of 15 to 20 nights
  • 250,000 bonus miles for sailings of 21 or more nights

Customers booking a 2024 cruise get an additional 25,000 bonus miles.

For example:

  • 50,000 bonus miles for sailings of 12 nights or fewer
  • 75,000 bonus miles for sailings of 13 or 14 nights
  • 125,000 bonus miles for sailings of 15 to 20 nights
  • 275,000 bonus miles for sailings of 21 or more nights

As noted above, these bonus miles are in addition to the 2 Delta SkyMiles for every dollar spent on cruises that Delta Cruises normally awards. So, if you book a $20,000 cruise as part of the promotion, you’d get the bonus miles mentioned above plus another 40,000 Delta SkyMiles.

The latter bonus miles will be awarded for the total cruise purchase price excluding port charges, port expenses, taxes and insurance.

Among the caveats: Bonus miles are earned per cabin and are awarded to only one passenger per cruise booking. In addition, to qualify, customers must book through the Delta Cruises program.

Other fine print:

  • Mileage will be posted to your Delta SkyMiles account six to eight weeks after your cruise.
  • Cruises must be paid for in U.S. currency.

Which credit card should I use to book?

Looking to earn even more Delta SkyMiles when booking this offer? Consider using a Delta SkyMiles credit card, such as the Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card. It earns 2 miles per dollar spent on Delta purchases — including flights. When you apply for this card, you can earn 40,000 bonus miles after you spend $2,000 on purchases in your first six months of card membership.

Don’t have a Delta-affiliated card? Use a card that earns bonus points on cruises. A good option is the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, which earns 2 points per dollar spent on travel, including cruises. Right now, you can earn 60,000 bonus points after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening.
